For over 35 years we have been in the business of providing our customers
with the best values for the rockbound and lapidary hobby, the mineral
collector, silversmith and jewelry maker. If you have never visited a rock
and gem shop before, a delightful experience awaits you. The moment
you enter the front door, you are welcomed by clusters of lush, purple
AMETHYST from Brazil, heavenly blue CELESTITE from Madagascar. You
will be amazed at the wondrous beauty of crystals, rocks, minerals, and
gemstones.
Located nearby will be a section with more QUARTZ - clear, smoky, citrine
and rose -some with interesting inclusions. You will also find FLUORITE,
SELENITE swords, and CALCITE in colors of white, blue, green and orange.
PETRIFIED WOOD from Arizona, South Carolina, Washington and Oregon are
here too.
Along with the natural CRYSTALS and MINERALS, you will also find specimens
shaped by the hand of man into SPHERES, EGGS AND OBELISKS.
We carry an excellent selection of QUARTZ CRYSTAL SPHERES, ranging in price
from $10.00 for l" diameter. to $389.00 for 3 3/8 " diameter.
A favorite way to begin the lapidary hobby (the cutting and polishing of
rocks and gemstones) is by TUMBLING a batch of rough rocks into smooth,
polished stones. We carry LORTONE
tumblers and equipment , a large assortment of crushed
rocks to tumble, as well as the abrasive
grits and polish necessary to complete your project.
We are a supplier of semi-precious GEMSTONE
BEADS and FRESHWATER PEARLS, temporarily strung, ready for you
to design and string - or we'll do it for you. We also have sterling silver
and gold filled beads in all sizes. We carry a complete line of bead stringing
supplies: sterling silver, gold filled and 14K clasps, white and colored
cord in silk and rayon, bead tips, designing boards and several excellent
books on the subject.
